The position
We are looking for a full-time Construction Site Manager with experience in the field of Fiber Optics Projects.
Candidate profile:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in on-site project execution.
- Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
- Good knowledge of German is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong skills in: Team leadership and field management, working under pressure, adaptability to changing conditions, clear communication & organizational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Supervision & Scheduling: Oversee civil works projects and coordinate daily schedules.
- Team Management & Field Operations: Lead an on-site team of 8 workers and supervise earthworks execution.
- Production Targets: Ensure earthworks are completed within set deadlines and according to quality standards.
- Work Order Delivery: Coordinate with Telco and Documentation teams to deliver complete, well-documented work orders.
- Supply & Warehouse Management: Manage logistics, warehouse inventory, and ensure availability of required materials and equipment.
- Risk & Cost Evaluation: Evaluate potential site risks, material requirements, and associated costs.
- Crew Setup & Logistics: Organize transportation, daily planning, and operational setup for the crew.
- Quality & Timeliness Assurance: Ensure tasks are performed on time and to the expected quality level.
- Regulatory Compliance: Comply with all permits, safety rules, and regulatory guidelines.
- Technical Documentation: Deliver all necessary technical files and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Issue Resolution: Identify and address on-site issues and escalate critical problems when necessary.
