Artemis ITS has undertaken the Area C of the consolidated areas of OTE/Cosmote network.
Area C consist of Attica, Peloponnese, Aetolia-Acarnania, Zakynthos, Kefalonia, Ithaki and Lefkada.
Project is divided in 6 different pillars – areas of works:
Pillar 1
- Sporadic works: corrective maintenance of OTE’s Fixed Network. Works consist of excavation, network restoration as well as aerial works
- Completed works: new subscriber connections, Metro Ethernet, Corporate customers, underground network rerouting etc.
Pillar 2
Mobile Transmission Network:
Installation of MW links, DSLAM, Multiplexers, TRS nodes for the implementation of TRS network and corporate customers.
Pillar 3
Civil Works:
Metallic constructions, shelter, reconstruction of customer’s telecom centers, road constructions
Pillar 4
Medium voltage substations, Installation of power generators, AC/DC power boards, Air Conditioning works, Firefighting facilities
Pillar 5
- Corrective Maintenance in mobile station and fixed network centers. Telecom, Generator, Airconditioning and civil works
- Preventive Maintenance. Semi-annual and Annual maintenance of networks. Works include telecom, EM and CW activities
For each of the above-mentioned pillars the procedures are carried out by a dedicated project management team and the management is being performed through own custom-made Information System.
